Royal Chant is a garage band founded by American ex-pat Mark Spence, and through numerous line-up changes they’ve spent the last 7 years crisscrossing the motherland and hopping ponds playing stages big & small. With an impressive catalog thanks to constant writing and recording they keep cranking out their fuzzy poetic pop songs that always seem to find a home on radio stations across the globe along with memorable music clips that see the band punching well above their weight.
With Mark joined by Adam Murray on bass and Josh Thomson on drums, they spent 2015 touring their 2nd LP, The War Cry Of Failure, and currently spend time between gigs in the studio working on their 3rd, tentatively titled Never Had A Heyday. With passion & poetry they keep themselves bouncing around their own little universe, never in the spotlight but never far from it, keeping their heads down and the distortion up….and a rose between their teeth.
