VanderAa

VanderAa have just come off a world tour, a stand out highlight in their careers. Headlining a festival in Italy, performing at Burning Man in America and are apart of filming the documentary ‘The Meaning of Vanlife’. Guided from Australia to Burning Man, VanderAa helped facilitate a global drumming ceremony with the first nation people. Our camp ‘Red Lightning’ hosted 30 indigenous elders where we came together with over 500 drum circles from Peru to Nepal to Iceland to Mexico and over 1 million listeners online. The biggest drum prayer in history.

Enter your mind, body and soul, feel what moves you, feel the rhythm lift you up. Your senses are vibrating and your hair stands on end, your heart beats faster to the driving beat of the drums as the music washes over you. VanderAa begin with the music and end with the music, what lies in between is a story they love to share.

It’s an experience, a story of their experience! A journey of two brothers from Darwin, Australia that have created something unusual and unique. VanderAa’s sound blends a mix of drum, djembe, beatboxing, yidaki (didgeridoo) with guitar and vocals. You can feel the life they breath into their words, the energy they move through their instruments and the connection they make with their audience.

From busking the streets to headline international shows & festivals, VanderAa have done it all from the back of their Van. Performances such as Burning Man, Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival and Bass in the Grass to their most recent world tour. Accompanied by relentless Australian touring and international touring through Europe, America and Canada.

VanderAa’s roots have grown deep and their journey has taken them back to their origins. The name VanderAa is Aaron and Levi’s last name and it means Of The River Aa. A river that runs through Holland which they recently visited on their European tour. VanderAa are strong advocates for doing good and their music gives you an opportunity to do a good deed for the world.

To receive their debut EP Red Hot Go, VanderAa are inviting their audience to trade with an Act Of Kindness (AOK). The trade will take place on their website where you can choose your AOK. VanderAa are collaborating with organisations such as Red Cross, Greenpeace, Sea Shepherd, TOMS, Orange Sky Laundry and Take 3. Our audience has embraced the AOK movement and are actively seeking opportunities to make a change. The idea of exchanging music for Acts Of Kindness has amplified the foundation of what VanderAa sing for!
