Multi-Golden Guitar winner, Australian singer-songwriter, Amber Lawrence is one of Australia’s most celebrated and hardest working country artists. Having released 7 studio albums and 3 children’s albums, Amber’s latest release “Living for the Highlights” (July 22) debuted as the Number 1 all genre Australian album on the ARIA charts and the Number 5 all genre international release (behind Ed Sheehan and Harry Styles). A huge achievement, as well as taking the Number 1 Country album spot, plus nominated for an ARIA Best Country Album of the Year 2022.
Amber is prolific as an artist – whether she’s touring, writing, recording, hosting her own radio show, filling in on ABC Saturday Night Country, or providing laughs and honesty on social media, the mother of one takes it all in her stride.
Her latest album ‘Living for the Highlights’ is receiving much applause from fans and industry alike and has been in the ARIA charts consistently since release. It’s a raw, realistic and uplifting take of the toll the last three years took on many of us, and includes the singles Bring it Back, I’m Coming Home, Fill it Up and Making up for Lost Wine.
Amber is a 5 x CMAA Golden Guitar Award winner ‘Female Artist of the Year’ (Superhero 2015), ‘Single of the Year’, ‘Song of the Year’, ‘Vocal Collaboration of the Year’ (Our Backyard 2018), ‘Vocal Collaboration of the Year’ (True Blue 2020) and an ARIA Nominee for ‘Best Children’s Album’ for ‘Kids Gone Country II’ (2021).
In addition to taking out the CMC Female Artist of The Year (2015 & 2016), she also received 5 x CMC Award nominations in 2018.
