How much is the food?

Most dishes range from $18 to $55+ depending on the size of the dish. Meat is expensive and when you add in up to 12 hours of cooking, yes it isn’t cheap. Yes, we know you can cook it yourself cheaper at home and fast food is cheaper. But our Pitmasters are some of the hardest-working people you’ll ever meet and they are passionate about what they do. If you want real food, cooked by Australia’s best, Meatstock is a barbecue wonderland.

What is on each day?

Meatstock is two full-on days of Barbecue and Grilling Competitions, Butcher Wars, Demonstrations, Barbecue Expo, Live Bands + Much more. Both days have a slightly different itinerary and setlist of bands. A full detailed itinerary and setlist will be released 2 weeks out from the event on our social media platforms.

How old is a child ticket?

Under 5 Free. 5-15 Years requires a Child ticket.

Are the lines long?

Meatstock prides itself on gathering some of the best and most unique vendors in the country. However, good quality barbecue by nature is very time-consuming for the pit-masters to cook and is not at all like fast food. We do our best to make sure any queues for food are kept to an acceptable level and move as quickly as possible. However The wait times are the longest at around 12noon-4pm. Outside of those times the lines should generally be 20 minutes or less. Saturday is our busiest day, if you want to minimise any lines Friday or Sunday is the day for you.

Can you guarantee all vendors will have food all day?

We have some of the biggest smokers in the country at Meatstock, however, even then they can only fit so much meat. Some vendors do run out of menu items as the day progresses and/or take short breaks. We will however always have a great selection of food available at all times.

What is the payment system used at the festival?

We take tap-to-pay, EFTPOS, Cash (selected areas) and ATM’s will be available at the venue.

Do the teams sell food?

No, sorry. Due to food regulations, the teams are not allowed to sell or give away their food. All ‘ready to eat’ food is sold by some of the best vendors and pit-masters in the country. All leftovers food from the teams is collected by OZHarvest or KIWIharvest.

Are PETS ALLOWED

No sorry, pets are not allowed.

Do you Honour companion cards

Yes, companion cards are valid at the gate.
