Frank Caputo, known as “Hank Daddy,” is the passionate owner and founder of Hank Daddy’s Barbecue
a reknowed Kansas City Style Barbecue Restaurant. Prior to venturing into the world of barbecue, Hank
Daddy had a successful career in the financial services industry.
In 2010, inspired by his love for barbecue, Hank Daddy decided to share his barbecue passion with
others. He initially introduced Hank Daddy’s Barbecue at fairs, festivals and conventions, quickly gaining
a reputation for his mouthwatering barbecue. Hank Daddy’s Barbecue has served its barbecue at such
events as MLS Finals, NHL Winter Classic, Grey Cup Festivities, Pan Am Games, NBA All-Star Game
Festivities and many, many others.
In 2016, Hank Daddy’s Barbecue reached a significant milestone with the opening of its flagship
restaurant in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada becoming a hub for barbecue lovers. Hank Daddy’s
commitment to quality, tradition, and a genuine love for barbecue has made his restaurant a beloved
destination for those seeking authentic Kansas City-style barbecue.
Today, together with his daughter Olivia, Hank Daddy’s Barbecue continues to serve up delicious
barbecue with their Award Winning Sauces delighting patrons with the rich flavors and hospitality that
