Haz-Control ltd is a specialized Health and safety consulting company with expertise ranging from Education and health through to Explosives. We are Worksafe appointed Compliance Certifiers, for pyrotechnics. Van Tiel Pyrotechnics Ltd have provided New Zealand and the Pacific Islands with the largest fireworks displays such as Auckland Millennium and Rugby World Cup 2011. Our fireworks displays range from Coca Cola Christmas in the Park to private displays for special occasions. The range of our pyrotechnics work and products includes special effects for film and TV such as “Alien Covenant” and “Nigel Latta Blows Stuff Up – Episode 2”, battle effects for air shows, concert tours, indoor pyrotechnics and even solid fuel rockets. Company director, Dr Martin Van Tiel, is a pyrotechnics engineer with a PhD in chemistry, BSc in physics and 35 years international experience.
