Born and raised on a sheep and cattle station near Tamworth, Jimbo arrived on the country music scene with his debut single ‘Atlas’ a poignant tribute to his late mother. Balancing anthemic hits with honest narrative songwriting, his sound is contemporary raw grit. Jimbo has established himself as a leading young talent, with his last six singles hitting the national country charts and securing spots at major festivals including Groundwater and TCMF. Last year saw Jimbo expand his craft, diving into music production to take greater control of his sonic direction. He applied these new skills to his latest release, ‘More Iron Than Water’.
