Lozz Benson

Lozz Benson is an in-demand session musician & multi-instrumentalist with a career spanning over 15 years. Over this time, Benson has played with the likes of the OG Wiggles, Kate Ceberano, John Butler Trio, Mahalia Barnes & Marcia Hines. 

She has dabbled in various original projects including her own rockabilly trio ‘That Red Head’ who have played multiple festivals and supported the likes of Slim Jim Phantom (The Stray Cats). Benson also plays drums around town with acts including CK & the 45s, Imogen Clark, Fanny Lumsden & Bill Chambers. 

In September, Lozz visited Nashville for Americanafest and performed at the Sounds Australia showcase at the world renowned Bluebird Café. 

Whilst in the country music capitol of the world, Lozz teamed up with producer Misa Arriaga (Kacey Musgraves, Willie Nelson, Joshua Hedley) to finish recording original material for her debut EP. Since returning back to Sydney, Lozz has continued to co-write with Tom Wolfe (The Wolfe Brothers), Jim Moginie (Midnight Oil) and Phil Stack (Thirsty Merc).
