Mike Patrick has refined his taste buds and skills over 20 years of commercial cooking.
Having worked for five years as head chef of wood-fired pizzeria, Ladro, and two years as head honcho at Argentinian steak mecca, San Telmo, Mike decided to focus in on his true passion: BBQ.
This led to Mike, along with his associates, opening Fancy Hank’s BBQ Joint in 2013. Serving traditional slow-cooked American style BBQ, Fancy Hank’s has since become an institution, winning the loyalty of BBQ enthusiasts and food lovers across Melbourne. In 2015, they entered the food truck arena with Fancy Hank’s Roadhouse, and in October this year will open a second venue, a two-storey BBQ restaurant & rooftop bar on Bourke St.
