Robert Jacob Lerma is a freelance photographer based in Austin, Texas. He works as Chief Executive Officer of a psychiatric hospital and travels around the world photographing BBQ. His love for Texas BBQ began when he first visited Austin in 2005. While his family is from South Texas, he grew up in California and moved to Austin in the summer of 2008. He previously served on the Foodways Texas Advisory Board as President and is a Brand Ambassador for Lynx Grills, Knob Creek, Fogo Charcoal, Crowd Cow and Pitmaker, in addition to shooting for YETI, Snake River Farms and Weber Grills, to name a few.
