The Boondocks

The Boondocks are New Zealand’s hottest up-and-coming rock act. A high-energy, attention-demanding riff rock band from the rural community of the Awhitu Peninsula, south of Auckland, they were formed by Scott Parker and Branden Pritchard in 2022.

The duo has quickly climbed to the top of the music scene, earning a name for themselves by pushing the boundaries of what just two people can accomplish with nothing but a bass guitar and a drum kit. They have also become renowned for their unparalleled work ethic, electrifying and unforgettable live performances, and their ability to sell out venues.

The band has consistently released charting singles, receiving major air-time on stations such as The Rock FM and Radio Hauraki. The Boondocks have already grown a dedicated and loyal fanbase in their short time, proving again and again that they are the next generation in Kiwi rock.
