The Wet Whistles are four Fun Loving, Beer Drinking, Brissy Living, Country singing guys who love nothing more than rocking up, plugging in and letting the good times roll with their trademark creamy 4 part harmonies and big singalong choruses.
Nick Trovas, Caillin Malley and brothers Jordan and Jake Hill all met on Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley Pub Gig Circuit and the four mates soon realised they all shared a love for Country Music and timeless melodies.
This led to a few beer fuelled jam sessions and The Wet Whistles were born.
Country Pop is a picture as much as it is a song and The Wet Whistles fiercely egalitarian, 4 across the front, brothers in arms ethic is their secret weapon. 4 Lead singers and 4 part harmonies offering up a little something special.
Two years of winning over audiences in both City and Country Queensland gave the band the confidence to start writing their own originals and focusing on a bonafide Country Music career.
