Sunday 21st April 2024
10.00am – Gates open
10.30am – SUN BUTCHERS BRIEFING (behind stage)
11.30am – Round 4 AMIST Butcher Wars
12.15pm – Round 5 AMIST Butcher Wars
5.00pm – Awards Presentation
COMPETITION DETAILS
Each Butcher is allocated
Pork – Half Saddle
Lamb – Half Lamb
Competition time is 30 Minutes SHARP!!
Butchers ARE allowed to use the following
• Garnishes
• Seasonings, including Herbs and Spices
• Sauces and Marinades
• Knives and Saws
• Additional presentation items
Butchers are judged on
• Final Appearance
• Creativity
• Technique
• Speed
Butchers are given 30 minutes competition time to present meats on a supplied board.
WORKSTATIONS
Workstations for the competition are approx 610 x 1200mm.
Each competitor must supply their own presentation board for final judging.
Cost of Entry
Entry is $200
Includes 4 x Weekend Super-Passes ticket to Meatstock
International Butchers are FREE
PRIZES
1st $1,500 in Cash and Prizes
2nd $500 in Cash and Prizes
3rd $250 in Cash and Prizes
Plus Trophies for 1st-5th
PENALTIES AND INFRACTIONS
Please note, you may receive a penalty for any of the following infractions:
• Going over the allowed time.
• Late to competition start times.
• Uncleanliness of station.
Judges decision is final in the event of any dispute.

By entering the Contest, each entrant forever and irrevocably releases and holds harmless the event organisers, its parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, and their respective agents, advertising and promotion agencies, Contest partners and prize suppliers, and all of their respective employees, officers, directors, shareholders, affiliates, and agents from and against all claims, damages, or liabilities arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from (a) entrant’s participation in the Contest, or Contest related activities or events, (b) entrant’s Submission, (c) entrant’s representations and agreements in these Official Rules, and (d) entrant’s award, receipt, or use of any prize awarded in the Contest. The event organisers reserve the right, at their own sole discretion, to terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest at any time.
A waiver must be signed by each contestant.
