In January 2023, Australian bluesman Frank Sultana competed in and won the prestigious Memphis International Blues Challenge, becoming only the 3rd person outside of North America to do so in the events 40 year history
On his return he scooped the Sydney Blues Society Awards winning for Best Songwriter, Artists Choice, Best Traditional Blues and Artist of the Year
This year he again won for Best Songwriter
While in Memphis he recorded at the famed Sun Studio producing the album the Ghosts of Sun which spent 10 months in the Australian Blues Roots Radio Airplay Charts.
