Raised on country tunes playing in the background of her mother’s hairdressing salon, her father’s influential 1980/90’s club disco beats, and the musical legacy of her grandfather (the bass player for 1960’s Australian rock/pop band, Ray Brown and the Whispers), Rodrigues grew up in a household surrounded by a magical mixture of music, which audiences can hear whispers of in her own songs.
